‘Spoiled Alert’

The previous season’s success it was inevitable that the popular YOU would be brought back in for a second run, the adaption of Caroline Kepnes second book “Hidden Bodies” lines up the ludicrously handsome Penn Badgley taking lead as Joe Goldberg alongside a fresh cast suggesting the second season would bring a new twist to the disturbing series. Joe is found in LA adopting a pseudonym of will as a precautionary move to ensure he past is kept there, keeping the original owner of the name safely sealed in a newly constructed cage. Badgley seems to have outdone himself in terms of charm offensive, immediately converting you into a massive fan to the point where you forget the previous season. The initial stages of the season is all too familiar, Goldberg laying the building blocks of his plan to seduce his new target, Victoria Pedretti as Love Quinn taking on this cast. Throughout the season you are comfortably coasting through each episode only for it to present you with an unexpected twist to ensure you are paying attention, the latter stages demands your attention to ensure you don’t miss out.

Overall the second outing of YOU is more than deserving of it 91% rating
