Over the years CCP have actively invested time and effort into visiting us all around the world, there is a wealth of images stored online for you to see and hear about.
Personally went and visited Eve London when it was part of their world tour. An enjoyable experience however being a student at the time I had to endure the heartbreak of the gradual emptying of my bank account, being from Glasgow I was not used to the routine prices of London City (£26 for two double vodka redbull should be an arrestable offense)
Anyhow, the plague had put paid to any other sorts of activity of similar nature, until now. Eve London, whilst not being an official CCP event, has been toned down to a more casual affair. November 6th 2021 was when the Eve Community gathered in the The Oyster Bar “Located next door to London Bridge this beautiful riverside Restaurant / Bar boasts gorgeous views across the river with famous landmarks such as HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s all within close proximity.”
The date correlated nicely with the newly revived alliance tournament, although one thing I did notice during this event was the limited amount of time that people actually watched the AT, perhaps the prospect of getting to drink some POS fuel was just too much? We had visits from a couple of CCP devs as well, which was nice.
“Is it a ticketed event Dex?” I hear you ask.
No it is not, however there may be some arrangements in place for you to sign up for a free ticket, combined with the usual track and trace information to ensure you and everyone else is protected should any potential issues occur related to your 5G signal.
