The thought occurred to me after my experience with a couple of youth teams how the care you put into the coaching you add to your team extends futher than simply footballing matters. On one occasion I moved on from my favorite role of looking after an U11’s team of girls, for a variety of reasons most importantly to spend some more time with my family due to one of my parents falling ill.
It was a strange experience, i was taken aback by how emotional i became. How much i missed the crazy comedy that they came out with, how they made me a loom band and how one of them was going to bring me back some rock from blackpool. Maybe i will see them again? Who knows.
